Beginning
To seekers I sing of the Keepers of Heaven’s majestic creation.
I sing of the starlit and glorious cosmos, its folk and their faces.
Beknown as the vibrant, remarkable present’s transcendent foundation,
These words that I sing are the knowledge the sages have ardently charted.
Examining sapient people of starlight, with sorrows and graces,
This guide to the seekers, with passionate singing, is freely imparted.
The formless, mysterious Keepers of Heaven, in silence proceeded
The birth of celestial flame in the cosmos and glorious features.
Through waters and tempests on planets, the flora and fauna were seeded.
Through valleys, on mountains, in forests, and marshes with sinuous shallows,
Were fashioned the people of starlight, enlivened as beauteous creatures,
With breath that the formless, mysterious Keepers of Heaven behallows.
On Terra, the humans and petrans descended from primates tenacious.
These humans are glabrous with varied complexions and heads that are hairy.
Emerging in valleys, their kind is discerning but gladly loquacious.
The petrans have watery noses, are russet and flocculent creatures.
Near mountains, they've ears that are round and capacious with eyes that are scary.
As petrans, their gazes are narrowed on prowess with maximal features.
On Aura are avian, armed, acrobatic and fervorous fellows.
The silvans have eyes that are golden and emerald plumage that's suited.
Their limbs and their beaks that are hooked are displayed as magnificent yellows.
The lamans have eyes that are crimson and ebony plumage that's glossy.
Their limbs and their beaks that are pointed are onyx through waters their rooted.
The source of their yearning for honor are forests and swamps that are mossy.
Through yearning, both Terra and Aura have guided each Terran and Auran.
As Aurans the silvans and lamans quite often have mates for a season.
They've intimate bonding with friends in a manner to Terrans that's foreign.
The petrans by females and humans by males are their species directed.
A longing for males by the petrans and females for humans' the reason
Most common in plural, but pairs are the grouping that's mostly elected.
The Ages
To seekers I sing of the threefold, momentous and echoing ages.
The people of starlight, from twofold and varying homeworlds to concords,
Through wayfaring, rivalries, miseries, graces and writing in pages
Of history's meaningful heartaches and setbacks, for freedom and favor,
Endured and amended their cultures through echoing ages and records.
Preceding the present, this sobering wisdom of elders we savor.
The Age of Bestirring's defined by the powerful, dominant masters,
Their prominent empires, in each of the homeworlds, and truth of subjections.
They guarded untouchable power and wealth through mishandling disasters.
From primitive tribes to significant kingdoms, the folk were surviving.
As passionate words and their writing engendered dissent and objections,
Rebellion and progress through burgeoning knowledge was surely arriving.
The Age of Bemingling's defined by the growing, significant movement
Of people to other developing homeworlds near stars that are distant.
Through freedom of inquest and growing discernment they harkened improvement.
The people of starlight, in species of four, through their interest were speaking.
Though some were befuddled, suspicious, malicious, afraid or resistant,
The people of starlight through tempered coaction were carefully seeking.
The Age of Beseeing's defined by momentous and myriad mixtures
Of species that thrive on the threefold and prosperous homeworlds at present.
Technology’s progress yields common, particular cultural fixtures
Like numerous gazers and towering spires in the cities. With science
Efficiency, power and data revealed, they enable each segment
Of people to cheerfully party, relax or express their defiance.
Of Terra
To seekers I sing of the order of Terra through glorious beauty.
It's numerous buildings, society, culture and practical widgets
Are capably managed by people of starlight through passion and duty.
Technology's growing and thriving and hues are extremely attractive.
In bountiful nature, enlivened aesthetics and ciphering digits,
The people of starlight are hardy, competitive, bold and reactive.
Through urban, municipal dealings are structures of minerals, metals
And segments of wood, through distributed markets, the cities they’re claiming
Are nurtured, through councils, instead of constructed like flowering petals.
The leaves of their prominent arches like sinuous water are curving;
Their quality metalwork girdles the generous windows they’re framing.
The broad and meandering pathways have gardens their beauty’s preserving.
The vibrant and differing colors of produce and textiles, the movement
Of motored conveyances, paired with the presence birdsteeds and horses,
And clamor of vigorous voices enliven the growing improvement
That flows through their pathways like vibrant formations in signage and power;
It’s hidden and merges with buildings as wireless data’s directed.
The spires for transmissions through gazers and minds are these network’s endower.
The people wear colorful tunics with fabric that’s boldest and strongest.
Ornately embroidered near hemlines, they’re sleeveless with collars they’re lacking.
Dependable, quality, laudable leather that lingers the longest
Is fashioned as footwear, as pouches for gazers and gadgets and belting.
Their fabrics are altered through seasonal thickness, their layers and tracking —
With cotton in springtime, the summery linens, and wools that they’re felting.
A Petran Named Ember
To seekers I sing of a petran named Ember, of passion and yearning.
A seller of volumes, he mirrors the Age of Beseeing's ambition.
Through volumes and novels he cultivates inquiry, wonder and learning.
Though gazers provide to their users the knowledge of people and places,
The pages of text on his bookshelves engender both speech and volition.
As seekers arrive in the Clover he welcomes their curious faces.
A face of a petran named Cloud in the people that enter announces
With gaiety, girth and gregarious grace in the Clover his presence.
"Good day to you, Ember" he says with a joyful expression that bounces.
"What brings you such humor?" says Ember who's peacefully sitting
With buoyancy, Cloud near the counter exclaims with exuberant pleasance,
"Your guidance secured me a dinner with Gleam that's romantic and fitting!"
"Perhaps for the date you can gift him a book that he'll certainly treasure"
Says Ember while wordlessly placing a book on the counter with measure.
